New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman practiced again on Wednesday, according to Jim McBride of the Boston Globe.
Julian Edelman practices Wednesday, fantasy status trending upward
In a surprise twist of events, the Patriots could get their No. 1 wide receiver back into action sooner than anticipated. We break down the fantasy implications.

McBride added that Edelman looked "crisp and quick" in the portion of practice open to the media. Wednesday's practice marks the second session Edelman has participated in since suffering a foot fracture, and if his attendance continues throughout the week, it is conceivable he suits up for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans.
Fantasy impact: Though the Patriots remain atop the AFC, they would prefer to have all hands on deck down the stretch of the season in order to fend off the Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos for the conference's No. 1 seed. Needless to say, a healthy Edelman would provide a massive boon to their chances of doing that, and his status needs to be monitored throughout the week.
Though there's no guarantee Edelman will take the field on Sunday, fantasy owners need to know that it is now an option. He would reenter WR1 consideration upon return, and the fantasy value of Danny Amendola would take a massive hit.
