Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will practice Wednesday, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Ben Roethlisberger will practice Wednesday, fantasy status for Sunday unclear
The Steelers quarterback will return to practice on Wednesday after sustaining a concussion on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Roethlisberger exited Week 12’s loss in the fourth quarter due to a concussion and has been in the NFL’s concussion protocol ever since. Though he has been cleared for Wednesday, Fowler cautioned that it doesn’t necessarily mean Roethlisberger has been cleared to play on Sunday. Despite the ambiguity of his status, returning to the first official practice of the week would bode well for the Steelers signal caller’s status on Sunday.
Fantasy impact: Hopefully, more concrete information about Roethlisberger's status will be available before Sunday, since the Steelers have a Sunday night matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. It would be another fabulous matchup for a quarterback that just threw for 456 yards against the Seahawks on the road before his fourth-quarter exit. If his status comes down to a game-time decision, fantasy owners may have to start another option in his place since the 8:30 p.m. ET start time would leave them with few options if Roethlisberger is not cleared to play.
Roethlisberger would be a no-brainer QB1 if he takes the field, but for now, fantasy owners will have to monitor practice reports.
