Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is throwing "a fair amount" and is "pain free," according to Zak Keefer of Indy Star.
Andrew Luck is pain free, per report; fantasy status unclear
The Colts’ franchise quarterback is making strides since being sidelined with a kidney laceration. We break down the fantasy implications.

Luck has been sidelined since the Colts' Week 10 bye week after taking down a then-undefeated Denver Broncos team, due to a lacerated kidney. However, the three-week rest appears to have done Luck wonders, and he appears on track to return to the playing field in the near future.
Fantasy impact: It still isn't known if Luck will take the field on Sunday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the late start time indicates that fantasy owners won't have a choice but to keep him on the bench, regardless of his status. The Colts are 4-0 in Luck's absence this season and would need to keep an eye on preserving their franchise quarterback's future with the team instead of rushing him back too quickly.
Luck would be a QB1 against the Steelers, but Week 14 seems like a more reasonable date to monitor for Luck’s return. Until then, fantasy owners will have to monitor practice reports.
