Oakland Raiders running back Latavius Murray hasn't really been doing much with his carries. In the last three games, he's averaged 19 carries per game, but he averaged just 57.3 rushing yards per game. Although, his matchups were pretty bad.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 15: Latavius Murray ready for a big game
Latavius Murray hot start is behind him, but he could have a big outing for his fantasy owners in the playoffs.
He gets another bad matchup this week against the Green Bay Packers, who are the 10th-toughest matchup for fantasy running backs this season. If there is a positive for the Raiders, it's that this game is in Oakland. The Packers have been worse as a rushing defense on the road and have allowed a few big games along the year.
As for Murray, he still has no real competition for carries. The Packers are also a better pass defense than they are against the run. Murray will also be involved in the passing game as a safety valve for quarterback Derek Carr.
Fantasy impact: Murray should be in just about all lineups for this week as a top-15 back.
