Sometimes a little luck can go a long way. Carolina Panthers wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. made the most of his three targets last week, catching two passes for 120 yards and two scores. He was also coming off a five-catch, 80-yard game with two scores in Week 13.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 15: Ted Ginn Jr. needs to get lucky again
Tedd Ginn Jr. has been very lucky lately. Does his luck run out this week for his fantasy owners?
Ginn is just not the type of guy who is going to be consistent. He didn’t have any targets back in Week 12 and was held under 61 yards from Oct. 18 up until that 80-yard game. Basically, he’s the ultimate boom-or-bust guy.
The good news for Ginn is he gets the New York Giants, who are the eighth-best matchup for fantasy receivers this season. They have been burned throughout the season, but they are a little bit better than they were from earlier this season.
Fantasy impact: If you have reliable options, use those instead. On the other hand, if you’re a monster underdog this week in the playoffs and need a prayer, Ginn might be your guy.
