Jacksonville Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon is listed as doubtful on the team's injury report for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
T.J. Yeldon injury update: Jaguars RB listed as doubtful for fantasy owners
The Jaguars will likely have to call Denard Robinson’s number in the huddle instead of T.J. Yeldon’s on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Yeldon exited Week 14's blowout win over the Indianapolis Colts with a sprained MCL and did not participate in any of the team's three practice sessions since. Denard Robinson filled in for Yeldon's absence, and will be in line to do so once again on Sunday.
Fantasy impact: It is a near certainty that Yeldon will be held out of Week 15’s action, and fantasy owners need to be prepared for the scenario that he isn’t on the field for Week 16, either.
Until he returns to practice, fantasy owners will have to go about their business with a backup option in their RB slot for the fantasy playoffs.
Robinson will be considered a plug and play RB2/flex option with a plus matchup against a reeling Atlanta Falcons defense at hand.
