Fantasy football advice, Week 15: Who to start/sit for Packers vs. Raiders

The Green Bay Packers appear to have righted the ship lately, winning two in a row (the second in very convincing fashion) to retake first place in the NFC North. Sunday, they put that streak to the test against the 6-7 Oakland Raiders, who would get back to .500 with a second win in a row.

The Packers are getting healthier these days. Of the team's main fantasy contributors, only wide receiver Davante Adams is on the injury report. He's questionable with a foot injury, and fantasy owners need to check active reports Sunday morning. The Raiders, meanwhile, have wide receiver Amari Cooper on the injury report with a foot injury, but expect to have the rookie on the field Sunday.

Start ‘em: While he hasn't offered the upside you likely wanted when you drafted him, Aaron Rodgers is still an easy starting quarterback. ... Maybe I'm naïve, but I'm fully back on the Eddie Lacy bandwagon; the only thing stopping him in recent weeks has been punishment, which no longer appears to be in the offing. ... Randall Cobb has been a high-floor contributor of late, albeit without high ceilings. Still, you're using him.

Start ‘em?: Lacy's rise back to prominence doesn't deprive James Starks of all his value; he's a strong flex play. ... Richard Rodgers came back to earth a bit in Week 14, but he's still a fine TE2 with upside. ... The Packers' defense has improved of late after a rough patch.

Sit ‘em: If Davante Adams plays, you don't really want any part of him, and either way, James Jones hasn't exactly been great lately, either. ... Mason Crosby hasn't been anything special most weeks. Better to look elsewhere.

Start ‘em: With his counterpart banged up and producing worse of late, Michael Crabtree looks better and better. He's a fine No. 2 receiver.

Start ‘em?: In his last five games, Derek Carr has only 14.4 fantasy points a game, including 13 or fewer three times. He still has high upside and a lot of weapons, but the risk is real. ... Latavius Murray has only topped eight fantasy points once in his last six games. You're still probably using him, but feel free to seek higher-upside options. ... Even if he were healthy, Amari Cooper is looking like more of a flex play than a must-start. Add in the injury, and he's worrisome.

Sit ‘em: Last week's touchdown marked the first time all season Mychal Rivera has topped four fantasy points, and Clive Walford hasn't been doing much either. Just avoid the position here. Sebastian Janikowski has one fantasy point in his last two games combined. ... The Raiders' defense has been good lately, but the Packers' offense appears to be clicking once again.
