St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley did not practice Wednesday, according to ESPN's Nick Wagoner.
Todd Gurley sits Wednesday’s practice, fantasy status deserves monitoring
The Rams’ feature back sat out the first practice session in preparation for Week 17. We break down the fantasy implications.

Gurley was noticed limping at the end of Week 16's victory over the Seattle Seahawks, and has what is being described as a foot injury. The Rams have two more practice sessions to go in the week, giving the rookie feature back multiple chances to see game day action.
Fantasy impact: A likely committee of Tre Mason and Benny Cunningham would carry the load in Gurley's absence, but there is no reason to assume Gurley is in any danger of missing Week 17. Minor injuries typically keep players out of the first practices of the week, and there isn't enough information to suggest the Rams will keep Gurley out of action.
Fantasy owners will have to monitor injury reports throughout the week to be safe, but Gurley can be considered a top-flight RB1 for Sunday as of now.
