When it was announced that Jamaal Charles would miss the rest of the season, fantasy owners scrambled to find his replacement. To date, he's had two of them, and Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware have both filled in admirably for the electric running back.

The backfield situation in Kansas City could be muddy with Spencer Ware entering the mix.
But neither of Charles' replacements did so in tandem prior to Week 13. According to a report from Chiefs Digest, offensive coordinator Doug Pederson plans to use a committee approach now that West is healthy and Ware is proving capable after rushing for 210 yards and three touchdowns over the last two weeks.
Fantasy impact: It is good news for Ware owners, who will get some standalone value from him even in West’s health, but West’s owners cannot be happy about a committee approach. From Week 6, when he made his first start, through Week 10, just before his hamstring injury, he averaged the fourth-most fantasy points among running backs. Now, his usage will presumably be different, and the floor for fantasy production has been reduced.
Because of so many question marks about how the Chiefs will divide the carries, and because much of it will depend on game script, West should be considered a flex option for Week 13 against the Oakland Raiders instead of his previous RB1 designation.
