Fantasy football advice, Week 13: Who to start/sit for Ravens vs. Dolphins

The Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins both entered the 2015 NFL season with playoff aspirations, and perhaps more than that. Instead, entering their Week 13 matchup, both teams are 4-7, and just hoping to beat out someone for last place in their respective divisions.

The Ravens will be without tight end Maxx Williams for the game between the two teams Sunday, and wide receiver Marlon Brown is doubtful as well. As for the Dolphins, wide receiver Rishard Matthews will miss Sunday's game with a rib injury, but the team expects to have running back Jay Ajayi and wide receivers Jarvis Landry and Kenny Stills ready to go.

Start ‘em: He only had 55 rushing yards in his first start last week, but Buck Allen added in 29 receiving yards and a touchdown to make him a worthwhile fantasy play. In a nice matchup, he's a fine RB2 and maybe an RB1. ... Justin Tucker has been fine almost all season, and should be started most anywhere. ... The Dolphins' offense has fallen apart, while the Ravens' defense has played its best two games of the season in its last two. It's an interesting matchup with potential.

Start ‘em?: Since Steve Smith Sr. got hurt, Kamar Aiken has averaged almost 11 fantasy points a game. Sometimes you don't have to be the most attractive one, just the last one left. ... Crockett Gillmore didn't do much last week in what looked like a nice matchup, but he'd been fairly consistent before that. He's a TE2.

Sit ‘em: In his first game filling in for Joe Flacco, Matt Schaub has a respectable 14 fantasy points, though interceptions still dogged him, as he threw two. He's not a fantasy option until he can get those under some sort of control.

Start ‘em?: There hasn't been much to like about Ryan Tannehill's season as compared to expectations, with only three games of 20-plus fantasy points, and those three scattered throughout the season. It's a very nice matchup on paper Sunday, but he's far from a sure thing. ... Lamar Miller has six fantasy points combined in his last two games after that five-week hot stretch in the middle of the season. The offense just isn't clicking. ... With Rishard Matthews out, Kenny Stills and DeVante Parker could both see a big bump in use. They are low-floor, high-ceiling risk/reward options.

Sit ‘em: As long as Miller is the team's No. 1 back, there aren't enough touches available to Jay Ajayi. ... Jordan Cameron's stock has fallen so far from the start of the season. He's not worth rostering. ... Andrew Franks has two or fewer fantasy points three times in his last five games. ... The Dolphins' defense has more negative fantasy days than positive ones this season.
