Indianapolis Colts quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is unsure if he will be ready for Week 14's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to the team's Web site.
Matt Hasselbeck’s Week 14 status unclear, fantasy owners in deep leagues need backup plans
The Colts now have two injured quarterbacks and need to reassess their plans. We break down the fantasy implications.

Hasselbeck suffered a neck injury in the first quarter that was aggravated in the third quarter during the Colts' 41-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 40-year-old quarterback underwent X-Rays and will be further evaluated on Monday in hopes of determining his status going forward. Charlie Whitehurst finished the evening after the Colts pulled Hasselbeck in the fourth quarter, and would presumably start on Sunday if Hasselbeck and Andrew Luck are unable to suit up.
Fantasy impact: Even against a team that got shredded by Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans, it would be tough to trust any backup quarterback in Indianapolis against the Jaguars' woeful defense in Week 14. It had been reported on Dec. 2 that Luck was pain free when throwing, but there's no guarantee that he will be back in time for Sunday's divisional clash.
It is awful news for any fantasy owner that took stock in the Colts offense, as Frank Gore, T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief would need a quarterback capable of moving the chains to cash in on substantial fantasy points. Luck would be a risky QB1 option in the unlikely event he takes the field, but Hasselbeck and Whitehurst are low-end QB2s.
