The Chicago Bears can't afford for Alshon Jeffery to miss any time this season. Jeffery strained his calf and was held out of the preseason opener, but he appears to be on the right track. Over the weekend, Jeffery was using a walking boot and crutches as a precautionary measure, according to ESPN Bears writer Jeff Dickerson. On Monday, Jeffery was seen walking on his own again, according to Zach Zaidman.
Alshon Jeffery ditches walking boot and crutches as fantasy owners await full return
Alshon Jeffery is eyeing a return to the field. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

The Bears will likely ease Jeffery onto the field as carefully as possible. With rookie wide receiver Kevin White sidelined for at least six weeks, Jeffery will be relied on heavily for the majority of the 2015 season.
Fantasy impact: There doesn’t seem to be too much concern from Bears camp and beat writers. It’s no surprise the Bears are taking every possible measure to heal an otherwise minor injury. Fantasy owners may prefer that Jeffery doesn’t touch the field until the regular season, but rest assured that the Bears are fully aware of their predicament with their receiver depth. Jeffery likely won’t miss a beat and start the regular season as a strong WR1.
