The odds of Washington getting their No. 1 wide receiver on the field in Week 1 are looking better by the day. Jackson separated his shoulder in early August. On Monday, Washington Insider Tarik El-Bashir quoted coach Jay Gruden, saying “He’s got almost full range of motion back and he’s feeling pretty good.”
DeSean Jackson making progress with shoulder injury, regular season return likely for fantasy owners
DeSean Jackson is apparently on the fast track to recovery. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Many considered his timely return likely but it's still encouraging to hear expectations are being met. While not quite as impressive as his career-high 2013 season with the Philadelphia Eagles, Jackson finished the 2014 season with 56 receptions for 1,169 yards and six touchdowns.
Fantasy impact: Despite Jackson’s slight dip in production in 2014, his fantasy stock hasn’t dropped much. He’s being drafted in the fifth round of most fantasy drafts. Jackson is one of the better WR2 options out there. His injury status shouldn’t diminish his fantasy value, as his return for the start of the regular season is very likely.
