Rookie wide receiver DeVante Parker is taking significant steps (literally) toward recovery as he aims for a Week 1 appearance. He was spotted jogging for the first time since undergoing foot surgery in June, according to the Miami Herald's Adam Beasley.
DeVante Parker taking next steps toward recovery, fantasy owners face questionable Week 1 return
DeVante Parker is hoping to overcome his foot injury by Week 1. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Parker was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He'll be competing for snaps with Greg Jennings, Jarvis Landry and Kenny Stills. Parker's progress is promising, but it's very possible he'll be eased into the lineup early in the season.
Fantasy impact: With Mike Wallace out of the picture in Miami, there’s a lot of opportunity for Parker. Fantasy owners are banking on his upside and first-round pedigree. The talent is there, but his recovery may stunt his early development.
Fantasy owners will need to be patient with Parker early in the season. He’ll be catching up with the rest of the offense considering he missed a lot of the offseason. Parker will likely be a low-risk option at the end of fantasy drafts.
