It’s not just who you draft, it’s when you draft them. You’ve probably heard this or some variation 100 times, but it’s definitely true. Fantasy owners really need to be on their toes to guess when their competitors will take a certain player. There are a lot of things that can affect the general perception of a specific player. For instance, if every single “expert” is raving about the same guy as a great target in the middle round, you’re going to have to be very aggressive to pick him up.
Joique Bell ADP: Why Yahoo! fantasy football ranks him higher than ESPN
Joique Bell was a sneaky weapon in fantasy football last year, but things are a little different with Ameer Abdullah coming on. Where should you draft him in your league?

Additionally, the platform for your draft is going to affect the average draft position. Not all sites feel exactly the same, so there will be some discrepancy on the ADP. For instance, if Yahoo! ranks Player X at 25 and ESPN ranks him at 75, his ADP on Yahoo! will be much higher than on ESPN. If some sneaky commish wanted to, he could choose his platform based on the rankings alone. If ESPN has his favorite guys higher than Yahoo!, he would want to do it on Yahoo!.
The Detroit Lions are going to look a little different this year and hopefully receiver Calvin Johnson can stay healthy. They also made some changes to their backfield. With that, here's a look at how the sites rank running back Joique Bell.

Additionally, his ADP trend is plummeting. Here’s a quick look at his ADP over the past month:
It’s not easy to see a two-round drop in one month while that player has no new injuries. However, the Lions haven’t had a concrete timetable for Bell to return from his Achilles and knee injuries, but he is doing some work at practice. He is still likely to be ready for Week 1.
That's not why he's sliding, though. The big reason is that perhaps no player has seen his ADP rise like Ameer Abdullah. Consequently, that means the demand is down on Bell. He's basically old news despite how he had a solid 2014.
ESPN is fairly bold on Bell to put him in the fourth-round on a standard league. Chances are they will be making an adjustment because just about every other site has him close to 70. On the other hand, if you can get him in the 80s, that is a very good value. Not many will aggressively target him anyway.
