Atlanta Falcons receiver Roddy White (knee, shoulder) will not play in the second game of the preseason. He is still expected to be ready to start the year for Week 1.
Roddy White still hurting, fantasy value doesn’t look good
Roddy White won’t play this weekend. We break down the fantasy implications.

White had his knee drained in June and the expectation around the team is that he will need it to be drained again. While he was one of the most durable players up until two seasons ago, White had all those miles on his tires backfire on him. He battled through knee ailments last season and that will likely continue for the rest of his career.
While the Falcons are going to air it out, the 33-year-old White is likely headed for decreased snap counts. He was fairly solid last year, totaling 80 catches for 921 yards, but those seem like lofty expectations this season.
Fantasy owners are shying away from drafting White, who has seen his average draft position fall to close to 100. There is room for some upside, but it’s awfully tough to be aggressive when drafting an aging player with an injury. Feel free to give him a look after 100.
