Fantasy football draft strategy: Martellus Bennett sees his stock rise
Martellus Bennett had a big game on Friday. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

It’s worth noting that Chicago didn’t put any of its starting receivers on the field. However, Friday’s preseason game gave us a glimpse of quarterback Jay Cutler’s trust in the tight end.
Bennett averaged eight targets per game in 2014. He finished with 90 catches for 916 yards and six touchdowns.
Fantasy impact: There's no reason to believe that Bennett won't at least replicate his 2014 numbers if he remains healthy in 2015. With the loss of Brandon Marshall and no real replacement alongside Alshon Jeffery, Bennett should see an increase in production this season.
Friday’s game simply supported the notion that Bennett could have a career year. He’ll see an even bigger boost in PPR production. He’s a strong TE1 in all formats.
