Miami Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry has shown some serious growth in the preseason. In his limited action in the preseason, Landry totaled 11 catches for 115 yards and one score.
Fantasy football draft strategy: Jarvis Landry gains some value from preseason
Jarvis Landry looks great in the preseason. We break down the fantasy implications.

Interestingly, he only had four first downs on those catches, which is a clear indication of how much he’s working as the underneath guy. The Dolphins are using him in the slot much more and he will likely be quarterback Ryan Tannehill’s hot receiver against blitzes -- Tannehill has also been tremendous in the preseason.
Landry had 42 catches in the final six games last season, which would extrapolate to 112 catches in a 16-game run. Based on how much he’s been targeted in the preseason, he seems like a great bet for 100 catches.
Fantasy impact: If you’re in a PPR league, you should be looking to pick up Landy as a WR3 or maybe even a WR2. However, in standard leagues, all those short catches aren’t quite as beneficial and the Dolphins may not lean on him as much in the red zone. He’s more of a high-end WR4 with upside.
