DeSean Jackson will miss 1-2 games, per report; fantasy owners search for backups
More bad news comes Washington’s way in the wake of Week 1’s 17-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins. We break down the fantasy implications.

But according to new information, it appears that the premier deep threat is slated to miss more than just the remainder of one game. Jason LaCanfora of CBS reported Monday that after Jackson’s MRI, a significant strain surfaced that will cause Washington’s No. 1 wide receiver to miss at least one or two games, and potentially more.
Fantasy Spin: It’s a crushing blow for fantasy owners, not just because Jackson will miss time, but because hamstring injuries also carry a great degree of variance in terms of their severity. As a result, Jackson owners will have to carefully monitor every practice report out of Washington to see how quickly he will recover.
Pierre Garcon and Jordan Reed will continue to see volume in wake of Jackson's absence, and are firmly in WR3 and TE1 territory, respectively. Ryan Grant and Andre Roberts should also see an uptick in snaps, but neither are deserving of waiver claims. For now, Jackson's owners will just have to play the waiting game.
