Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson (toe) is questionable to play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night. He has been limited in practice this week, but the sense around the team is that he'll play.
C.J. Anderson is questionable, Ronnie Hillman is a strong fantasy add
C.J. Anderson is up in the air for Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

While most of the Broncos reporters aren’t overly concerned, it’s still worth monitoring. Anderson reportedly has turf toe, but the team shot it down earlier this week and said he’s fine. The fact that he’s limited in practice in a huge week against a divisional foe suggests that turf toe is a problem for him.
The best way to get over turf toe is to get some rest, so we might still see Anderson sit out. If that's the case, Ronnie Hillman would be a featured back for the Broncos. He's reportedly been the 1B to Anderson's 1A and that held true on Sunday. Both backs had 12 carries while Hillman out-rushed Anderson, 41-29.
Fantasy impact: The good news is that we’ll find out on Thursday whether Anderson will play. If he’s in, you have to start him. If not, you have to start Hillman and should have him owned in all leagues right now.
