The New England Patriots get starting running back LeGarrette Blount back this week against the Buffalo Bills. He was suspended for Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but that didn’t stop the Patriot from putting up 28 points.
Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 2: LeGarrette Blount
LeGarrette Blount is back this week. We break down the fantasy implications.
Running back Dion Lewis filled in nicely with 69 rushing yards, 51 receiving yards and a total of 19 touches. Lewis looked great in the process and forced eight missed tackles on his 19 carries, which was the best rate in the league, according to Pro Football Focus.
While the Bills are fully expecting Blount to start, it’s a little hard to predict how the touches will be split right now. The Patriots have by far the most unpredictable backfield in football, so they might be taking it easy on Blount in his first game, especially with Lewis looking great.
Fantasy impact: There is so much risk here, and the Bills’ defense looks fantastic. The risk outweighs the reward here, so Blount is not a great option this week. He should obviously be owned in all leagues, though.
