If you’re in the daily fantasy sports (DFS) game, you need as many tools as possible to help set your lineup. Sure, there are some things you’ll disagree with, but not acknowledging stats or information is usually a mistake. FanDuel had acquired NumberFire to help on some projections for NFL players for each week to give you another tool to help.
Fanduel Daily Fantasy projections, Week 2: Running back
Getting ready to make some money in FanDuel for Week 2? Check out NumberFire’s projections for running backs with some fantasy analysis.

Here are the running backs for Week 2:
Top tier
There should be a lot of points scored in Green Bay, which means Marshawn Lynch should be busy as the Seattle Seahawks look to keep Aaron Rodgers off the field. Plus, he may be involved more in the passing game. LeSean McCoy comes in at No. 3, but that’s not taking into account that he has a hamstring injury. He’s risky. DeMarco Murray will also get a chance to rush all over his old team.
Bargains
If you’re feeling saucy, Chris Johnson could be a bargain at $5,700. Coach Bruce Arians doesn’t really trust rookies, so expect CJ?K to get most of the work over David Johnson. Rashad Jennings is also a nice buy at $6,400 against the Atlanta Falcons, who could have some trouble slowing down the Giants in New Jersey. Plus, Jennings looked much better than Andre Williams. Lamar Miller isn’t a “bargain” at $7,300, but he’s the most attractive guy under $7,500.
Elite players with sub-par matchups
Adrian Peterson costs a whopping nine grand, and it’s really tough to count on the Minnesota Vikings after their disastrous showing on Monday Night Football. Matt Forte also gets a tough matchup against the Arizona Cardinals defense. Fantasy owners may want to steer clear of the entire NFC North backs with Eddie Lacy getting a bad matchup and perhaps Ameer Abdullah is also priced a tad high at $6,400. He’s obviously not elite … yet.
