Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans wasn't able to play in Week 1, and it was probably painful for him to watch. His team was embarrassed against the Tennessee Titans in Tampa as rookie quarterback James Winston struggled in a big way.
Mike Evans injury update: Fantasy owners have to wait for game-time decision
Mike Evans didn’t play in Week 1. Can fantasy owners count on him in Week 2?
Now Evans has a chance to play in Week 2. He is listed as questionable and will be a game-time decision. However, he said his hamstring is 100 percent and the team seems to have confidence in him playing in the divisional game against the New Orleans Saints.
Unlike last week, the good news here is that Evans has an early game on Sunday. That means fantasy owners won’t have to risk him in their starting lineups without knowing his status. The Saints have a sub-par defense, so there’s a lot to like if he can stay healthy.
Fantasy impact: If he’s able to play, he’s worth starting in just about any league. Expect the Bucs to have a better showing this week.
