Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy had a setback in practice this week. He did not go through all of practice on Thursday, but he was able to go through all drills on Friday. McCoy is listed as questionable to face the New England Patriots on Sunday.
LeSean McCoy injury update: Fantasy owners hoping to have him vs. Patriots
LeSean McCoy has been banged up since the preseason and he’s missed some practice this week. What should fantasy owners do to prepare for Week 2?
The Bills have an early game, which makes it a little easier on his fantasy owners to manage their roster. It sounds like he's going to play based on a report from ESPN on Friday, although he will likely be limited. McCoy played a whopping 42 snaps in Week 1, which is by far the most on the team -- Karlos Williams was second at 13 snaps.
If Shady can go, it'll likely be more of a timeshare. That's still fine because the Patriots have one of the weakest defensive lines for stopping the run. They even put defensive end Chandler Jones in at defensive tackle last week.
Fantasy impact: If Shady is in, you kind of have to play him in the matchup. If he's out, Williams is a solid start, and he's already worth owning in almost all leagues. This Shady injury looks like it'll linger.
