New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz is still nowhere near ready to play. He has been doing some running in a pool and doing some work on a gravity-altering treadmill. He will not play on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons and should be out for the foreseeable future.
Victor Cruz injury update: Fantasy owners can look elsewhere
Victor Cruz isn’t close to 100 percent. We break down the fantasy implications.
If you have Cruz on your fantasy roster for some reason, go ahead and swap him out for someone else. He’s probably not going to be near 100 percent until December or maybe all season.
The Giants passing attack wasn't effective against a sub-par Dallas Cowboys defense in Week 1. Quarterback Eli Manning passed the ball 36 times and he still couldn't get over 200 yards with just 193. Receiver Rueben Randle had just 23 yards on his five targets while Odell Beckham Jr. struggled with five catches for 44 yards.
Fantasy impact: Both Randle and Beckham should be better this week. OBJ is a must-start while Randle is a risky WR3.
