The Dallas Cowboys running-back rotation is a mess right now. The snap counts from Week 1 against the New York Giants for their running backs are interesting: Lance Dunbar had 33, Joseph Randle had 27 and Darren McFadden had 10. Although, Randle did lead the team in touches with 19 of them, totaling 107 yards.

Joseph Randle will take on the Philadelphia Eagles this week in what figures to be a high-scoring game. Should fantasy owners start him this week?
The Cowboys were also playing from behind, which may explain why Dunbar had so many more snaps compared with Randle. This week, they will likely be involved in another high-scoring game against the Philadelphia Eagles. While the Eagles do have an improving front seven, the Cowboys tend to use their ground game against them these days to help slow down the tempo.
The Cowboys are also missing receiver Dez Bryant, so that will likely also get their running backs more involved. Randle can catch passes, which means it won’t just be Dunbar involved on that front.
Fantasy impact: Randle’s matchup and the high Las Vegas over/under bodes well for him. Fantasy owners should view him as a solid RB2 with so-so upside.
