San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde was at practice on Wednesday. He left the Week 2 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers due to a thigh injury and did not return. Hyde should be ready to roll against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday in Glendale.
Carlos Hyde practicing on Wednesday, set for tough fantasy matchup
Carlos Hyde is back on the practice field. We break down the fantasy implications.

After he torched the unsuspecting Minnesota Vikings to the tune of 168 rushing yards and two scores in Week 1, the Steelers kept Hyde to just 43 rushing yards on 13 carries. On the bright side, he was worked more into the passing game with four receptions for 18 yards. Plus, running back Reggie Bush is not practicing yet.
Looking ahead, Hyde is in some trouble this week based on the matchup. The Cardinals are one of the best defenses against the run. They rank 10th-best in the NFL in rushing yards against this season and their secondary should allow them to put eight in the box.
Fantasy impact: Even in the bad matchup, you still kind of have to start Hyde. He is more of an RB2 this week, though.
