St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley said he would tell the coaches he'd be ready to play on Sunday if asked. He is practicing in full this week and is not on the injury report at this time.
Todd Gurley more likely to play in Week 3, fantasy value on the rise
Todd Gurley looks like he’s playing on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

It sounds like we'll be seeing Gurley on the field in Week 3 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Gurley did get a full week of practice in last week and was a game-time decision in Week 2, but he did not play. The Rams have previously said their poor run game isn't going to accelerate Gurley's NFL debut, but running backs Tre Mason and Benny Cunningham haven't impressed. Upon his return, Gurley is likely going to be limited and will be in a timeshare.
Fantasy impact: He still doesn’t have the green light in fantasy just yet. His owners hopefully drafted him knowing he was more or less not a guy to start until Week 7. On the whole, this is good news and he could be a game-changer down the stretch this season. If you have Mason, you can probably consider cutting him.
