The Indianapolis Colts were supposed to be a powerhouse offense. Running back Frank Gore was supposed to get double-digit touchdowns while getting plenty of carries in the second halves of games due to the Colts being up big. Well, neither of those are true and Gore's numbers stink, totaling just 92 yards on 26 touches in two games. He's lost a fumble and has yet to score.
Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 3: Frank Gore has been awful
Frank Gore has been a letdown this year. Can he get it going for his fantasy owners in a favorable matchup?
The 32-year-old back should be able to get it going this week against the Tennessee Titans. Last week, the Titans showed their true colors on defense as the Cleveland Browns put up 28 points while they had 116 yards on the ground -- the Browns' running backs had just 46 yards in Week 1 against the New York Jets.
With the Colts desperately needing a win, their offense should bounce back in a big way. The last time the Colts played the Titans in a meaningful game, they scored a whopping 41 points against them.
Fantasy impact: If you drafted Gore, you kind of have to use him. Even with just 12-15 touches he should get himself a score and put up 80-plus yards.
