Houston Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins is probable to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He had a concussion earlier this week and missed practice on Wednesday. He's fully expected to play.
DeAndre Hopkins injury update: Ready to go after concussion, is a solid start in fantasy
DeAndre Hopkins gave us a scare on Wednesday, but he’s ready to go. We break down the fantasy implications.
It was a weird week for Hopkins. He spoke to the media on Sunday after the game, canceled a Monday event due to what may have been a concussion issue, showed up on the injury report out of the blue on Wednesday, and now he’s going to play. The Texans calling him probable was a mild surprise, so go ahead and pencil him in for solid production.
The Texans are not going to have running back Arian Foster, so they should be willing to throw a bit more against a weak Tampa defense. Ryan Mallett threw the ball 58 times in a Week 2 loss, so expect a lot of targets for Hopkins.
Fantasy impact: He has a green light in all leagues for the home game. He is a top-15 receiver.
