Chicago Bears receiver Alshon Jeffery (calf) returned to practice on Wednesday. His calf injury didn't seem to bother him and he ran close to full speed, but he was not in full pads.
Alshon Jeffery returns to practice, fantasy value for Week 1 still has some risk
Jeffery returned to practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Bears are not being very forthcoming on Jeffery's status for Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers. Jeffery put in his first practice since Aug. 12 and he'll likely need to see a full practice before things start to clear up. Still, getting a practice in on Wednesday bodes well for his chances to be in the starting lineup.
“I felt pretty good,” Jeffrey said. “I’m just taking it one day at a time, and whatever the trainers and the coaches say, we’re gonna roll with that.” That’s not the strongest statement and it’s pretty clear he’s going to have a questionable tag when the injury report comes out.
Fantasy impact: If you have Jeffrey, you’re probably going to play him as long as he’s active. There is still a lot of risk in using him, so he’s more of a WR2 in most formats until further notice.
