Chicago Bears tight end Zach Miller is officially inactive for the team's Week 17 match up against the Detroit Lions. Miller has been dealing with a toe injury. Tight end Rob Housler is next on the team's depth chart. Miller has 34 receptions for 439 yards and five touchdowns. He emerged in the last half of the season. Martellus Bennett was placed on I.R. in early December. It remains unclear whether or not the Bears will keep Bennett with one year remaining on his contract. Miller will be a free agent in 2016.
Zach Miller injury update: Bears TE inactive for fantasy owners Week 17
Zach Miller won’t suit up for the team’s final game of the season. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Miller was one of the better TE1 streamers since Week 9, much to the surprise of fantasy owners everywhere. At 31 years old with plenty of injury concerns, Miller’s 2015 emergence seems to be more of an exception to an otherwise quiet NFL career.
