St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley is officially inactive for the team's Week 17 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Gurley is dealing with a foot injury that has kept him out of practice all week. Tre Mason and Benny Cunningham will likely split the workload out of the backfield in Gurley's absence. Gurley finished his rookie season with 229 carries for 1,106 yards and 10 touchdowns through 13 games. He also had 21 receptions for 188 yards this season.
Todd Gurley injury update: Rams RB inactive for fantasy owners
Todd Gurley will miss out on the final game of the season. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Gurley’s rookie campaign was impressive, exceeding many fantasy owners’ expectations. After being eased into the lineup in Week 3, Gurley rushed for over 100 yards through four consecutive weeks. He came back down to Earth a bit in late November, but Gurley proved he’s a huge fantasy asset regardless of his supporting cast. Gurley will be an RB1 when fantasy drafts begin in 2016.
