The 10th week of the 2016 regular season is just about coming to a close with only the Monday Night Football game remaining. Most fantasy football leagues will run their waiver wires late Tuesday or early Wednesday, but we are here to help you get a jump on the best options to consider.
Week 11 features four teams on bye, which will have a major impact both on positional players and defense/special teams units. We’ll rank out a few D/ST streaming options to get you ready for Week 10. Throughout the week, we will update each of these articles as ownership percentages change (via CBS Sportsline) and news arrives.
Waiver wire D/ST rankings, Week 11
1. Miami Dolphins (36 percent owned)
As the Chargers found out the hard way on Sunday, the Dolphins defense is capable of some big performances. Four fourth-quarter interceptions – including a game-winning pick-six – is worthy of picking up in any league. And the Dolphins now get three of the worst offenses in the league (Rams, 49ers, Jets) over their next five games. They are more than just a streamer option.
2. Detroit Lions (24 percent owned)
The Lions have not exactly been a shutdown defense this season, but they’ve had moments lately and they draw two struggling offenses -- the Jaguars and Vikings -- over their next two games, making them stream-worthy.
3. Oakland Raiders (23 percent owned)
The Raiders, coming off their impressive win over Denver and then a bye week, draws the Texans and scuffling Panthers at home the next two weeks. That screams stream.
4. New Orleans Saints (11 percent owned)
This is not a prank. The Saints get the Panthers and Rams the next two weeks and have double-digit points in their past two games. They could surprise against struggling offenses.
