With Week 9 of the NFL season upon us, we take a look at some of the best wide receiver values to be found on FanDuel and some players worth fading.

Welcome to Week 9 of the Daily Fantasy season. Pricing has stabilized as trends have emerged but there are still bargains to be found and even some higher-priced options that will go under-owned and can make a difference in your lineups. This article looks at some of the projected lesser-owned plays at wide receiver who could provide huge boosts to your tournament lineups, as well as some trap plays to avoid.

PLAY

Jarvis Landry $7,600 (Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets)

The majority of those taking a piece of the Dolphins offense this week are reaching for Jay Ajayi. But that could be a trap, as the Jets have the toughest run defense in the league. What the Jets don’t have is a good pass defense and that should open things up for Landry to have a nice game. Landry’s targets are back toward double digits and he should remain busy in this game. If Ajayi comes back to earth and Landry goes off, having him in your lineups is really going to put you ahead of the field.

Davante Adams $7,100 (Green Bay Packers vs. Indianapolis Colts)

This one is dependent on Randall Cobb missing this game, which once again leaves Adams as the top possession receiver on the field for the Packers. Adams has put up amazing catch totals the past two games, and that doesn’t figure to change against the Colts, who will likely focus on Jordy Nelson. Cobb is likely a game-time decision, so rolling with Adams carries a little bit of risk, but that should also hold his ownership down, as well.

Stefon Diggs $6,500 (Minnesota Vikings vs. Detroit Lions)

Maybe you were handing out candy, or maybe you were too frightened by that horror show on Monday night, but if you weren’t watching late in the game, you missed Diggs catching his first touchdown pass since Week 2. The TD capped Diggs’ best game since that Week 2 matchup with the Packers. This week, Diggs gets another division rival, the Lions, and their Swiss-cheese pass defense. No one is going anywhere near the Vikings offense right now, but that might be a mistake. The Vikings are at home and the Lions are the get-well defense of 2016. Don’t sleep on Diggs this week.

Sammie Coates $5,500 (Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens)

With Ben Roethlisberger back under center, the masses will want to pay up to get some Antonio Brown into their lineups. Go ahead and let them. The value play for the Steelers is Coates, who was really starting to come on as a Big Ben favorite when Coates injured his finger, then Ben tore his meniscus. With both back, there’s no reason to think Coates can’t duplicate his deep-threat exploits. And at $5,500, it only takes one or two big plays to reach value.

Tyreek Hill $4,700 (Kansas City Chiefs vs. Jacksonville Jaguars)

Nick Foles is the quarterback for the Chiefs this week, and when he was running the show last week, he connected with Hill for a touchdown. It marked Hill’s second straight week with double-digit fantasy points, and with Jeremy Maclin still banged up and Charcandrick West the only healthy running back, Hill should remain pretty heavily involved. His price is crazy low and perhaps not many owners are hip to his production. Now you are.

NAY

Amari Cooper $7,700 (Oakland Raiders vs. Denver Broncos)

Cooper is nursing an injury and won’t play until Sunday night, so no information will be available in time for the 1 p.m. ET lock. Even if he does play, he’ll be facing the top passing defense in the league. Stay away. Stay far away.

Terrelle Pryor $7,000 (Cleveland Browns vs. Dallas Cowboys)

Pryor is also dealing with an injury and he won’t have Josh McCown throwing him the ball. On top of that, Corey Coleman is back this week, so Pryor’s targets should take a hit. The Browns will almost certainly be in comeback mode, but that doesn’t make Pryor all that much more desirable.
