Jordan Matthews injury update: Eagles WR questionable vs. Washington, for fantasy owners [Update]
After a one-game absence, expect Jordan Matthews to play this week.

The Philadelphia Eagles are calling Jordan Matthews questionable vs. Washington in Week 14. After practice Friday, Matthews said he is “definitely” playing Sunday, according to Philly.com reporter Jeff McLane.
Matthews suffered an ankle injury in Week 12 that kept him sidelined in Week 13. That was part of why the Eagles scored just 27 combined points in those two games. Their wide receiver depth is arguably the NFL’s worst when Matthews is out, not that he is lighting the world on fire.
In 11 games, Matthews has caught 57 passes for 686 yards and three scores.
Fantasy Impact: If Matthews plays, Yahoo! ranks him as the 36th-best wide receiver in Week 14. He would face a Washington defense allowing the 10th-most fantasy points to wide receivers over the last five weeks.
Even if Matthews is active, keep him on the bench. He is not worth rostering with the fantasy playoffs here.
