The Dallas Cowboys used a rushing committee in Week 10, led by Alfred Morris, to fill the void left when starter Ezekiel Elliott began serving his six-game suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy. Morris was quiet in the loss to the Atlanta Falcons, rushing 11 times for 53 yards. Struggling early, he gained 45 of his rushing yards on the first drive in the second half before Dallas was forced to abandon the run to keep pace.
Fantasy football start/sit advice Week 11: What to do with Alfred Morris
The new Cowboys starting running back struggled in his first start of the year. We break down the fantasy implications.

Morris outcarried teammates Rob Smith and Darren McFadden by at least eight carries, and he is the clear feature back in the Elliott-less system. His next opponent, division rivals the Philadelphia Eagles, have been the best team at defending against the run. The Eagles have allowed the fewest rushing yards and second-fewest rushing touchdowns in the league so far this season.
Fantasy impact: It is going to be nearly impossible for Morris and the rest of Dallas’ rushing committee to make up Elliott’s 30 percent of offensive production per game. Before Week 10, the most carries Morris had in a game this year was four. The Cowboys will always try to run the ball, which gives Morris a slight fantasy appeal. However, there is nothing appealing about this matchup with the Eagles shut-down rushing defense.
