Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon is about to see an uptick in value starting in Week 11 against the Denver Broncos. Teammate Jeremy Hill is out for the season after undergoing ankle surgery.
Fantasy football Week 11: Joe Mixon start or sit?
A young rookie is set to steal the backfield duties in Cincinnati. We break down the fantasy implications.

Mixon has scored rushing touchdowns in back-to-back weeks.
Fantasy impact: Giovani Bernard has seen more than five carries in a game just once this season. It’s obvious the Bengals are cool with handing over responsibilities to their rookie running back. At least as far as the workhorse duties are concerned.
If he’s available in your league pick him up right now. Start him in deeper leagues but be cautious. Mixon’s season-high is just 62 yards rushing. Against Denver’s defense he will be hard-pressed to top that number.
Having said that, this might be the first time the rookie gets more than 20 carries in a game. Throw in the odd catch out of the backfield and you may just have a great fantasy day, especially in PPR formats. Start a rookie if you must, and make it Mixon.
Recommendation: Start
