The Los Angeles Chargers have not seen the same level of play from their tight ends this season. Sophomore TE Hunter Henry has barely been a part of the offense after posting a league-high eight touchdowns as a rookie a year ago. Henry only caught two passes for 25 yards in the Chargers’ blowout win over the Buffalo Bills Sunday. Henry only has two touchdowns and three games with more than 50 receiving yards so far this season.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 12: What to do with Hunter Henry on Thanksgiving
Henry sputtered as the rest of the chargers soared in Week 11. We look at the fantasy implications for Thursday against Dallas.

On paper, Henry has a favorable matchup with a Dallas Cowboys defense that is missing linebacker Sean Lee. The Cowboys have been pretty stingy with TEs this season allowing just three touchdowns to the position. They held one of the better TEs in the league, Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz, to 8 yards on two catches in Week 11. It was the Cowboys’ first game without Lee.
Fantasy impact: Henry is a bust in fantasy this season and that is unlikely to change against Dallas Thursday. The sophomore TE has not caught more than two passes in the last three games. He still ranks third in receptions and receiving yards for the Chargers, however, QB Philip Rivers does not seem to have Henry on his radar lately. Plus, veteran Antonio Gates also eats into Henry’s targets on occasion. Henry should stay on the bench Thursday.
