The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed wide receiver DeSean Jackson to complement Mike Evans and give Jameis Winston another major weapon to work with. It’s safe to say that things haven’t worked out, with the Bucs’ offense failing to take off and Winston getting injured halfway through the season.
Fantasy football start/sit advice Week 12: What to do with DeSean Jackson
Jackson has been mostly quiet in his first year in Tampa. We break down the fantasy implications.

After 10 games, Jackson has just 35 catches for 532 yards and three touchdowns. His 15.2 yards per catch would be the lowest since 2012, when he missed five games with injury. Jackson has cleared the 50-yard mark just four times this season.
Fantasy impact: With Ryan Fitzpatrick under center for the time being, it’s easy for fantasy players to sell on all their Bucs. Jackson has always been a boom-or-bust talent, but he’s been busting a lot this season without a large target share. He doesn’t have a particularly friendly matchup this week, with the Atlanta Falcons allowing the sixth-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers. Jackson is pretty hard to recommend in standard 12-team leagues at this point.
