Mohamed Sanu will always play second-fiddle to Julio Jones on the Atlanta Falcons, but he’s found ways to be productive on his own, especially when Matt Ryan is dealing. Since coming back from a hamstring injury, Sanu has discovered a knack for the end zone with three touchdowns in his last four games.
Fantasy football 2017: Mohamed Sanu, start or sit?
Sanu has been fairly productive since coming back from a hamstring injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Sanu’s most recent touchdown was particularly impressive, when he leaped above the Seattle Seahawks defense and hauled in a one-handed score, helping the Falcons gut out a 34-31 win on the road. Sanu is up to 37 catches for 388 yards and four touchdowns in nine games.
Fantasy impact: Settling in as a boom-or-bust WR3, Sanu is mostly dependent on his matchups. The good news for him is that he has a tasty one in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, whose hollowed-out defense is allowing the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers. Sanu’s upside might be capped if the Falcons grab a big lead and run out the clock, but he’s a decent bet to find the end zone again.
Recommendation: Start if you’re desperate
