Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen has been activated from the injured reserve list. There’s a good chance he’ll take on the New York Jets in Week 12. Olsen had just three catches on six targets in two games prior to suffering the injury.
Fantasy football start/sit Week 12: What to do with Greg Olsen
Carolina’s go-to tight end returns to the lineup following an injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

With his return, backup Ed Dickson will head over to the sidelines, though it remains to be seen if both players share snaps on Sunday.
Fantasy impact: With Kelvin Benjamin traded away to the Buffalo Bills and Christian McCaffrey still growing as a player, Olsen figures to get targeted a lot once he’s back in the lineup and at full speed.
Fantasy owners who snagged him off of the waiver wire are definitely hoping he starts this week against the Jets. New York has allowed the 10th-most fantasy points this season to the tight end position.
Those in deeper leagues will certainly take a chance on Olsen. Those fighting for a playoff spot may decide otherwise and go with a different option. For now we would suggest benching Olsen for one game just to be safe.
Recommendation: Sit
