Washington has ruled out Jordan Reed for Week 9 vs. the Seattle Seahawks due to a hamstring injury.
Jordan Reed injury update: How to handle Washington TE vs. Seahawks
With Jordan Reed out, Vernon Davis becomes a sneaky play vs. Seattle.

Reed is no stranger to injury reports, as he’s frequently part of them in some manner. While Reed is one of the game’s best tight ends, he’s also one of the most injury-prone players in the NFL.
While he’s officially missed just one game this year, Reed has had several instances where he was forced from a game early and missed much of it due to injury. That’s the worst kind of injury for fantasy owners, as they end up starting Reed but then get little-to-no production.
The good news is Vernon Davis has been a very good backup, even putting him TE2 numbers at times.
Fantasy Impact: With Reed out, Davis becomes a very good option against the Seahawks in Week 9. Reed is also someone you can consider cutting, as he’s proven to be too unreliable for fantasy owners, especially this season.
