Ever since bringing Marshawn Lynch out of retirement, the Oakland Raiders have been committed to managing his workload as much as possible. Over the first eight weeks of the season, Lynch reached 15 carries only one time — the season opener, incidentally enough. The 31-year-old struggled to find a groove while splitting time with Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington.
Fantasy football Week 14: Marshawn Lynch, start or sit?
The Raiders are finally starting to feed the beast more. We break down the fantasy implications.

In recent weeks, the Raiders have decided to give Lynch more work, and it appears to be paying off. In the last four games, he has 68 carries for 292 yards and four touchdowns. He’s even getting more looks in the passing game, making eight catches for 79 yards in the same span.
Fantasy impact: With the Raiders’ playoff hopes hanging by a thread, feeding the beast down the stretch is the right call. Look for him to keep getting steady work against the Kansas City Chiefs this week. Lynch didn’t do much in their last meeting in Week 7, only seeing two carries before getting tossed for shoving an official. He should be much more involved this time around and carries strong RB2 value against a Chiefs defense that’s falling apart.
Recommendation: Start
