The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are no longer listing Doug Martin on the injury report, meaning he is ready to roll against the Detroit Lions.
Doug Martin injury update: How to handle Bucs RB vs. Lions
Doug Martin is set to play, but is he worth starting on your fantasy team?

Martin had been in the NFL concussion protocol, which caused him to miss the Week 13 overtime loss to the Green Bay Packers. The veteran running back has battled injuries and a suspension this season, which is why he enters Week 14 with just 376 rushing yards on 119 carries (3.2 yards per rush).
Martin has certainly had his moments, but he has been a disappointment for the majority of the season. Does that mean you should discard him for the fantasy playoffs?
Fantasy Impact: Martin is set to face a Lions defense that just got destroyed by the enigmatic Baltimore Ravens in Week 13. It’s a big reason why Detroit is allowing the third-most fantasy points to running backs over the last three weeks.
Even so, starting Martin is far too risky with the fantasy playoffs now here, not to mention Tampa Bay is out of the playoff mix. They also may give Peyton Barber a nice workload to see what he can do. Keep Martin on the bench this week.
