Tight end Jesse James had the best game of his career for the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday night. James caught 10 passes for 97 yards in the Steelers’ comeback win over the Baltimore Ravens. James was targeted 12 times in the contest, another career high. James enjoyed a night where QB Ben Roethlisberger threw over 500 yards. James had not gained more than 42 receiving yards all season prior to Week 14.
Fantasy football Week 15: Start or sit Jesse James?
Injuries in the Steelers’ receiving corps could mean another big night for James. We look at the fantasy impact.

James could have another big night if the meeting with the New England Patriots turns into a shootout. The Patriots are a tougher matchup for the big man, however. The Patriots have held tight ends to the 10th-fewest yards this season and they have only given up five touchdowns to the position this season.
Fantasy impact: Realistically, James will not have a repeat of his Week 14 performance against the Patriots. He could be effective if Big Ben has to throw as much Sunday as he did against Baltimore. James will also see the same amount of action again this week if rookie slot receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is out. That is too many caveats. James is streaming but he is too big of a risk for the playoffs.
