Week 15 of the fantasy football season is here, and we’re back with another crop of start/sit options. We have a nice set of data about each team through six weeks, and can make informed decisions on good plays and traps. With that in mind, we’ll pick tight ends who should exceed expectations in Week 15, along with three you should probably sit.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 15: Tight ends
We break down the top starting options at tight end this week, along with some players who should be avoided.

Start
Ertz was scratched last week with lingering headaches, but he cleared concussion protocol this week and is on track to face the league’s worst defense against the tight end position. Even with Nick Foles at quarterback, Ertz is a must-inclusion in all lineups this week.
Ricky Seals-Jones, Arizona Cardinals at Washington
Washington isn’t Giants-level bad against tight ends, but they’re pretty close. Seals-Jones disappointed last week, and seems to have come crashing back to earth after his two-game, three-touchdown explosion a few weeks ago, Still, Blaine Gabbert is looking for him, and Washington is allowing the third-most yards and touchdowns in the league.
The Dolphins are tied with Washington for third-most touchdowns allowed to the position and Clay has been about the most consistent pass-catcher on the Bills this season. With Tyrod Taylor back under center, expect the connection with his tight end to continue.
Sit
The Packers can and will be beaten on the outside by wideouts, but tight ends have struggled against Green Bay’s linebackers. Olsen is still trying to get up to game speed and hasn’t been a factor in the passing game since his return. He is very hard to trust this week.
O.J. Howard is becoming Jameis Winston’s tight end of choice, while Brate has eight catches total over his past six games. Averaging one catch per game isn’t going to cut it.
Jenkins has stopped being a factor long before Josh McCown was knocked out for the season. Expecting ASJ to suddenly come to life with Bryce Petty at quarterback seems less than wise.
