Jerick McKinnon was the best receiver on the field for the Minnesota Vikings Sunday working out of the backfield. He caught seven passes for 114 yards in the win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The backup RB also rushed nine times for 24 yards in the contest. The receptions and yards were a season-high for McKinnon. He also led the team across all receiving categories in the contest except touchdowns.
Fantasy football start/sit Week 16: What to do with Jerick McKinnon
McKinnon led the Vikings receiving core out of the backfield in Week 15. We break down the fantasy impact.

McKinnon has a good matchup against the Green Bay Packers Saturday. The Packers have given the second-most receiving touchdowns and seventh-most yards in the air to RBs this season. McKinnon had 99 total yards and two touchdowns in the Week 6 meeting with Green Bay.
Fantasy impact: The Vikings have a good system with McKinnon as the pass-catching back and Latavius Murray the main rusher. Unfortunately, it eats into the numbers for both backs. Saturday, the Packers defense favors McKinnon’s style. They are not great versus backs in general. McKinnon has the upside for the matchup but he still yields most of the touches to Murray. He is could be a flex start in playoff lineups.
