Alvin Kamara did not get to play much in the Week 14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The rookie running back suffered a concussion in the opening series of the matchup and was sidelined for the remainder of the game. He was able to clear the NFL’s concussion protocol for the Saints’ Week 15 meeting with the New York Jets. Kamara rushed 12 times for 44 yards and caught six passes on seven targets for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Saints’ win.
Fantasy football start/sit Week 16: What to do with Alvin Kamara
The rookie rusher had a solid game after a stint in the NFL’s concussion protocol. We look at the fantasy impact.

Kamara will be a big factor for the Saints against the Falcons Sunday. The Falcons are strong versus the run. They allow the seventh-fewest yards and second-fewest touchdowns on the ground to RBs this season. The story is much different for pass-catching backs. The Falcons give up the eighth-most yards receiving and fifth-most receiving touchdowns to rushers in the league.
Fantasy impact: This game is a big deal for the Atlanta-area native Kamara since he did not get a chance to face the Falcons two weeks ago. He certainly has revenge on the mind. The third-round pick has a good matchup against Atlanta’s defense as the Saints’ main pass-catching back. Kamara is a must-start for the fantasy finals.
