The last three games have been subpar for Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan. Ryan completed 17 of 31 attempts for 212 yards and a touchdown in the win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Monday. He also rushed three times for 29 yards in the contest. The Falcons’ playcaller did not have a turnover in Week 15. He threw three interceptions the week prior in the win over the New Orleans Saints. Ryan has been held to 221 yards or fewer in the last three games, and he has three turnovers and just two scores since Week 13.
Fantasy football start/sit Week 16: What to do with Matt Ryan
Ryan managed to secure the ball in another average performance. We break down the fantasy impact.

Ryan hopes to play much better against the Saints Sunday. Ryan had 15 completions for 221 yards and a touchdown against the Saints, but he also threw three picks. The Saints have a stingy defense that is tied for the fourth-most interceptions in the league. They do not give up a lot of yards, but they were burned for 300 yards in back-to-back games Weeks 11 and 12.
Fantasy impact: Ryan looks like a completely different player than the league MVP from a season ago. He seems to be content with hitting a low ceiling this season. The 10-year veteran only has six games with more than 250 yards passing, and he has not thrown three touchdowns in a game yet this season. Ryan does not have a lot of upside versus the Saints this week. Based on his Week 14 performance against New Orleans, it is safe to leave him on the bench for the fantasy finals.
